Distribution of Paruroctonus boreus in British Columbia in British Columbia

Introduction


The Northern Scorpion is found in Western North America from southern Canada (BC--Okanagan Lake Valley, Alberta--Medicine Hat to Red Deer and Calgary and Saskatchewan) to northern Arizona to eastern California (Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Nevada, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, and northern Arizona), and may be present in northern Mexico (McWest 2009). It is commonly "found in a variety of habitats and elevations (to over 2000 m, 7000 ft)" (McWest 2009).
